In December 2010, CONNetic debuted their fun “Nutcracker Suite and Spicy” at The Aetna Theatre at The Wadsworth Atheneum. A totally different kind of Nutcracker featuring the
company’s signature style of fusion of athletic dance forms including tap, jazz, and hip hop and seasoned with their signature sense of humor the production was well received and is undoubtedly becoming a Hartford holiday tradition with it’s high energy Ugly Sweater Party Scene, breath-taking Snow Ball, and high kicking Florettes.

All set to a fun compilation of diverse music inspired by Tchaikovsky’s classic score as well as some original compositions by Kenneth Lundquist, Jr. who also plays Drosselmeyer. The show features a beautiful contemporary work of art depicting Hartford landmarks by local artist Ethan Boisvert as the backdrop.
