| Jamie-Lynn Fontaine is originally from Westborough, Massachusetts where she began studying dance at Charlotte Klein Dance Center and Dawn's School of Dance, competing both regionally and nationally in jazz, ballet and tap. She graduated with a B.A. in Theater and Dance from Trinity College in 2005, with supplemental ballet training under the direction of Jeannie Goir at the Hartford Conservatory. While at Trinity Jamie performed choreography by Cheri Soule at the American College Dance Festival '04 and by Debbie Goffe at the Ted Hershey Dance Marathon '03. |
She also choreographed, directed and danced in her thesis performance Pursuing Perfection. Jamie has danced in Duke Ellington's Jazz Nutcracker with the Hartford Conservatory, Chicago with the Manchester Musical Players, and danced and assistant directed Adam Cross's Truly Intoxicating Woman, which was performed at the Charter Oak Cultural Center. She is also a graduate of Dance Masters of America Teacher Training School Program '06 and teaches at Glastonbury Dance Center in Glastonbury. Jamie-Lynn is entering her second season with CONNetic Dance. |
